I've tried the pods, and while I can get the same results every time, it is expensive. It's on the weak side to be mixed with lots of milk. I did not want to spend $200 on a decent grinder, so I buy espresso grind bricks. I've been drinking espresso for as long as I can remember. In fact, it works even better with a non-pressurized portafilter, as with the pressurized one the crema is a bit too foamy and too much. However, this is not your best bet for a cappuccino or a latte.
This one is a perfect balance of flavor and body for my taste.
This coffee is my favorite at the moment.
This grind works great with my espresso machine (delonghi, pressurized portafilter).

I find the Starbucks one too acid and sometimes burnt.
I've tried Illy few times, I love the flavor, but the body isn't there (and I've tried the dark roast).
The crema is excellent.
I assume your results will be the same (provided you have decent machine).
This is a very delicious espresso for your espresso machine. It is also sure to wake you up. It's great.
